Braden Lescher
Braden Lescher is the founder of Werkstatt Football Camp, bringing a wealth of international experience and a deep passion for football to inspire the next generation of players.
Braden’s journey in football began in California, where he developed a love for the game at a young age. After playing for 18 years, his commitment to pursuing a higher level of competition led him to move to Europe at 17. There, he had the opportunity to train and compete with respected clubs including SSVG Velbert, F.C. Nürnberg, Waldhof Mannheim, and Eintracht Braunschweig. These experiences provided him with valuable insights into the intensity and discipline of European football, shaping his understanding of the game.
Currently, Braden is working towards his DFB-C coaching license, reflecting his ongoing dedication to advancing his knowledge and skills. His approach to coaching is influenced by his time in Germany, where he was exposed to high-level training methodologies and a professional football culture.
Having grown up in California, Braden is committed to bringing elite football development opportunities to his home community. Werkstatt Football Camp was founded with this mission in mind—to offer local youth players the chance to experience top-tier European-style training that is often difficult to find in the U.S. His goal is to inspire and nurture young talent, helping them reach their potential both on and off the field.
Braden’s experiences as a player and his dedication to coaching form the foundation of Werkstatt’s vision, making the camp a unique and valuable resource for aspiring footballers in the Santa Barbara area.
